Carolinas Tropical Cyclone Landfall Tool

This tool provides an interactive platform to explore landfalling tropical cyclones in the Carolinas from the HURDAT2 database. Each point represents a storm’s center of circulation at landfall, and not the size of the eye or locations it affected.
Please note  that secondary landfalls are not shown on this map.

For example: A storm that first makes landfall in Cape Hatteras and a second time on mainland only counts as one landfall at Cape Hatteras
