A cold front and subsequent closed low aloft brought measurable snow to the region beginning early in the morning on Wednesday the 17th. The slow speed of the system combined with decent moisture convergence in the low levels, and snow to liquid ratios in excess of 15 to 1 contributed to the high snowfall totals. | |||
