The southern valleys saw a mixture of sleet, snow, and rain, while the central valleys and higher elevations saw sleet, snow and freezing rain which developed around sunrise and continued off and on through most of the day. Precipitation amounts were light and accumulations were fairly uniform in the 1 to 3 inch range across the area, but numerous slick spots developed on roads, especially in the higher elevations. Numerous accidents resulted. | |||
